Just few weeks before approximately two-third of airliners worldwide have been grounded due to COVID-19 pandemic, I had a chance to travel a bit around South-East Asia. At that time flying was not that joyful as it used to be earlier as have started implementation of certain restrictions already. Luckily, in most cases, plane spotting does not require crowding with thousands of other people and I felt pretty safe while enjoying my hobby at Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN/WSSS).

Frankly speaking it is one of my most favorite places around the planet to watch planes and take its photos. It offers a fine combination of interesting traffic, fine weather and are quite a few locations with a good view without a threat to be bothered by the Police. Normally I tend to go to Changi Beach, however during my last visit in Singapore majority of the traffic arrived to runways 02L and 02C, so I spent two lovely afternoons at Changi Business Park.

The traffic was good as usual, while clouds made some of my shots pretty interesting. My favorite caches at Changi this time included Air India Express B738, SriLankan Airlines A320 in Oneworld livery and My Jet Xpress B733, however it was also nice to get different widebodies as well as typical local traffic. I only missed variety of Chinese carriers normally coming to Singapore forced to stop services at the time of my visit. See a small selection of my recent shots from WSSS below.
