Quakertown is a charming settlement in Bucks County in Pensilvania. Probably I wouldn't ever hear about it, if my daughter wouldn't came up with an idea to participate in a U.S. high school experience program two years ago. It took a while to organize it, but we managed to go through all the formalities and she ended up in a school in Sellersville, PA. She stayed with a local host family close to Quakertown and had probably the greatest time in her life. She also met new friends with whom she's still in touch. This actually made us to visit this place twice already as nowadays every visit to New York area must include a minimum two day trip to Pensilvania.

Luckily for me, there is a small airport in Quakertown (ICAO code KUKT). Therefore, while my daughter hangs out with her friends and my wife goes shopping, I still have a while to enjoy a bit of local aviation life. Typically small private planes are based there and, since there is no much traffic around, it is quite easy to go around and take several photos. People working at the airport are very friendly and understanding for the hobby. Thanks to them I increased my collection of Pipers and Cessnas - as shown below.
