In the middle of the Mediterranean

Malta looks like a pearl of the Mediterranean to me. I’ve been there for the very first time 24 years ago on a summer language course and have enjoyed its hospitality a lot. Moreover, using my very first Minolta camera, I even managed to take some photos at the airport, out of which just a few remain in my collection.
This June, during one of my duty trips, I had a chance to revisit Malta, shortly before its full reopening for the travel market. Obviously, I took a chance to visit a few famous spots around the airport. Even though the traffic was slowly recovering and thus the airport wasn’t really busy, I got several nice catches – at least in my immodest opinion. What I really liked, was the variety of aircraft reflecting Malta’s location in the middle of the Mediterranean including a Tunisian C-130, a white Saab 2000 serving destinations in Libya, Aegean Airlines A320 proudly presenting new corporate identity, Swift Air’s ATR72 freighter, Bombardier DHC-8-400 of Italian newcomer Sky Alps as well as some Maltese planes. Enjoy viewing pics shown below.
